Well duh, you can't really kneel on the ball there. But no one would have been blaming play calling if they let Freeman run the ball. It's not like that's some bum RB. And I don't really have a problem with them being aggressive...going for the TD to put a real dagger in is fine, but once they started heading backwards you got use your head and play situational football.

Run some time off, take the points, and go up 2 possession and most importantly give your defense a rest.
There are times to be aggresive and conservative and that was a time to be conservative.
