Jets DC Steve Wilks had five days to mull a response to Baker Mayfield's postgame jab, and his reply didn't disappoint. Mayfield had called out Wilks, saying the Bucs' win was personal because "their D-coordinator was the one that cut me in Carolina."

Mayfield called out Wilks last Sunday, saying the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 29-27 win over the Jets was personal for him because "their D-coordinator was the one that cut me in Carolina."

"I don't know how long you've been doing this," Wilks said to a reporter, "but I'm sure you're quite educated on it. I don't really think an interim coach has that much authority over personnel. If that's the case, I would've never gotten rid of our best player. Christian McCaffrey."

Yeah I remember that and thought it was stupid then. Dude feels like everybody has wronged him like that hasn't happened to a ton of players.

At some point, he gotta accept he ended up in a better position and now he gets to see him on the field twice a year now.

Baker wanted the trade after the team went after Watson . Now he still pissed that Kevin didn't call him afterwards along with the other issues they had during his tenure. Mr. Chip on my shoulder, going to block out the noise doesn't know how to act right now .

These Sheadur Sanders stans are crazy. The third string QB on every team is not getting prepped to play. When Sanders finally played he wasn’t much better than Gabriel. Atleast Garbiel didn’t turn the ball over like crazy. Stefanski a solid coach

It will be interesting to see what the Falcons do in this upcoming draft.

It looks like Atlanta does not have a 1st round pick (their 13th overall pick goes to the LA Rams)

So they don't pick until:

2nd round (48th overall)
3rd round (79th overall)
4th round (114th overall)
6th round (195th overall)
7th round (231st overall)

Not the ideal scenario for Stefanski to step into, though he does start with his QB/RB/WR1 already there.

It's going to be a serious challenge to find the kind of talent you need to anchor your OL/DL/DB in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

DL is set for the next 10 years. They need a playmaker at LB & depth for the DBs
