Fallout 4 is disappointing.

I'm shocked.

Shocked that people finally speaking up against the garbage that is bethesda.

Been saying this for years. Its like reviewers throw out all their guidelines and give them a million passes that they would never give any other studio.

All the major studios have been releasing these AAA game titles and they just aren't hitting. They get great reviews but after the hype dies down like three or four months later you see these type of threads. I bought Witcher 3, MGS V, and Fallout 4 on release day and I've played all of those games combined less than ten hours. I've only played MGS V ONCE. I think a lot of us are just growing bored with gaming. If I can't mod it and make it my own I'm not really going to fukk with it long term. No matter the presentation, developers really aren't giving us something we haven't seen or played before. They're just making more expensive versions of the same game.

yea. again my biggest gripe is that disconnect between game systems. the settlement building has zero effect on the game world and vice versa, except the supply line shyt which is mad indirect

i give them credit for integrating the crafting properly... but all in all i feel like this was made for skyrim fans

just a brain dead looped up sandbox, light on lore, light on detail, lax presentation

lastly, they sacrificed graphics for nothing imo

Bethesda normally has good dlc. I got the season pass for like 30% off on GMG.

I was HYPE for this game. Only game i ever took days off work to play. I put 250+ hours into FO3 and NV each and consider those two games to be in my top 5 favorite games ever.

I put 85 hours into FO4 and never touched it again. One of the biggest gaming disappointments i ever had. It was cool but not nearly as good as the others.

Hmmmm I had this thought too that I may have gotten bored with gaming as a whole but after more thought and anlazying, I'm just bored with the current state of gaming.

It has become too corporate like where every game feels like a "product" now, instead of a project where you can feel the developers poured their heart's and souls into literally losing yourself in their world.

The fact that it took them so many years to make it too is just Were gonna have to wait forever to see if they do the next one right.

I remember the game hyping up Diamond City and getting there like Well i don't like baseball at all but this should be cool Place gonna be massive So many unique vendors, NPCs and cool stuff. Then after 10 minutes i am like how do i get to the rest of this massive city Then i realized that this supposed massive Jewel of the Wasteland was actually small as fukk with like 20 characters shyt was straight pitiful.
