It really hurts me to say this but I put in about 3 hours in F4, I just got it yesterday, and I really have no urge to pick it up again anytime soon. :wow:

The whole engine feels ancient, the graphics are horrendous, and I'm experiencing slow downs and just overall clunky controls. Oh, and fukk the dog by the way. Seriously looked for ways of getting rid of him. SMH.

Another franchise bites the dust? First Halo, now Fallout? :damn: my childhood :mjcry:

On the 1 btw.

naw man not once did I have any slowdown and this bad graphic narrative is bunch of bullshyt.. you just didn't like the art design

All the major studios have been releasing these AAA game titles and they just aren't hitting. They get great reviews but after the hype dies down like three or four months later you see these type of threads. I bought Witcher 3, MGS V, and Fallout 4 on release day and I've played all of those games combined less than ten hours. I've only played MGS V ONCE. I think a lot of us are just growing bored with gaming. If I can't mod it and make it my own I'm not really going to fukk with it long term. No matter the presentation, developers really aren't giving us something we haven't seen or played before. They're just making more expensive versions of the same game.

Im with you on the witcher, these dudes overate the fukk out of that game, shyt was just ok to me and I have no desire to play it again, somenone said it feels like game of thrones and that may be why I wasn't interested.. or maybe I just like Bethesda games cause I loved skyrim and fallout.. but yea I don't play more than 5 different games a year so I am not as critical as these guys are, when I finally get into a game I usually enjoy it for what it is and move on.. HOWEVER MGSV is fire, the gameplay and graphics alone make that game good, you sound like you need a video game break for a few months.

Honestly if you didn't enjoy The Witcher 3 and MGS5, the problem is not the games. You just no longer enjoy gaming, breh..
exactly, I noticed I was going down that path where every game I picked up I just couldn't get into it enough to finish (witcher, batman, madden, 2k) were all purchased and played for 2 weeks max, but there was one game that broke that patteren FALLOUT fukking 4, so yall can:camby:with all this slander, this game was very well made, the attention to detail the gameplay the settlement building were all done almost perfect.. Its one thing to say this game didn't meet your lofty expectations but to say it feels like an old engine or its outdated is fukking rediculous

Y'all are a tough crowd.

I love the game.

What the hell were y'all expecting?
:manny: was my first fallout, I tried 3 but couldn't get into that shyt at all. I expected an Elder Scrolls with guns and was extremely disappointed :mjlol:

Nah, it's a typical Bethesda game

I know you have disposable income but you're part of the problem. You're going to buy DLC for a game that has disappointed you? Reward mediocrity brehs. :francis:

Talk about calling the kettle black. You put money down day one on titles you didn't even really play. YOU'RE the problem too. Companies will keep making the same games as long as dumb consumers continue purchasing them. Maybe refrain from buying that tenth yearly installment of call of duty, and you might see companies do something different

I just wished there was plenty of weird shyt like skyrims and a costume creation system and a better dialogue system. The shooting mechanics is amazing :banderas:

The next fallout needs a brand new game engine from the ground up and a better world design. I mean you know how much weird shyt I ran into when i first played skyrim, there should be shyt like that in fallout 4.

I dont even have that many gripes about the game. :pachaha: just wished they added more stuff that was included with their old games, that would have made more sense... :francis:

Haven't played the game since before Christmas. Not as a serious a gamer at this point in my life, but man this game doesn't make things interesting for you imo. I'm gonna go back to it since I didn't finish it, but I'm gonna need alot more time on my hand to do so.

You're not making any sense breh. If I bought Witcher, Fallout or MGS DLC then you'd have a point.

nikka, are you dense? :heh: Yes, I bought them on release day. I was disappointed. Thus, I would not buy DLC for games I found lacking. That's the point. @Ciggavelli said he would still buy Fallout DLC even though he was less than impressed with the base game.

a good rpg

This. Granted, the game is a good shooter. But as a Fallout RPG....it's disappointing. It's an RPG in the same sense that Far Cry 4 is an RPG.

I think it was a terrible idea to remove the level limit, and change the Perk System.

The only thing I enjoyed (although it was poorly done, tbh) was the settlement building and looting. I'm glad they made junk from previous games actually have some use in this one. However, by getting rid of hardcore mode, edible items and water became the new junk because healing items are so plentiful. Hell, even fusion cores were everywhere. I had a harder time finding wood for settlement building than healing items and fc's.

Yeah, but you're still BUYING the games day one because you bought into the hype. You're still giving these companies money after knowing very little about the final product. You are still contributing to the problem.
