Not really. By then they could just change the name back to mutants or have inhumans and mutants. Marvel been throwing characters out the wood works like its nothing. Like Samuel L. Jackson said at the int of Iron Man, "you think you're the only one?" Certain mutants would be able to be introduced though. Magneto would be out. it wouldn't be practical. It just depends on what mutants they use.

im 20 minutes in and besides the fact that it's more of an an adaptation than an attempted faithful translation I don't see anything wrong.

That and the part where everyone started freaking out because dude said he wanted to bring in NASA had me dying, it was so random and nonsensical. Like dude didn't say the army, or Hydra, he said NASA. Even with the context of them talking about how people only remember the astronauts, not the ones who actually built the rockets, why the hell were they so disgusted by this?

watched it on bootleg last night...it was trash ....pretty much no action , doom was better in the other movies , and the way they had reed not being able to control his powers literally had him looking flabby n sick ....dont think there's anything i need to see from this movie again which is crazy cuz i can AT LEAST watch the silver surfer scenes from the other one

The ONLY characters Fox got right were Wolverine (and milked him to death), Professor X, Magneto and I guess Mystique. I only mention these four because they have been able to overcome shytting scripts with dope acting.

Well you have to count Magneto and Professor X twice, and what about Deadpool? I dunno if others agree, but I think they also did a good job with Mystique (twice), Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Gambit (Taylor Kisch, we have to wait for the verdict on Tatum's version), Beast (1st, but the 2nd one aint bad for a younger version).

Fox has been far from horrible with their casting for X-Men.

How could they have fukkin edited out all the power shyt? the more i think about this movie, the worse i think of it. Ben Grimm is a fukkin guy who gets turned into a rock monster and we basically hear him screaming from inside a boulder, and then cut a year ahead when he's a military asset. the guy just got fukkin turned into a fukkin rock, and we barely see him suffer or learn his way, etc. did all the action scenes get lost in a fire? i mean, even if the studio pasted some shyt together last minute, how the fukk did they leave shyt like that on the cutting room floor?
