Far Cry Primal OT

People in here bytching about FC4.....I copped it for $15 during black friday. I loved FC3 and figured worst case FC4 was similar except with better graphics, new animals, and a way larger map. I haven't even played it yet .....is my assumption correct or is the game actually a downgrade from FC3?

Ok just watched the gameplay video.
Not sure how I feel about only having arrows in the game, especially with the beast being in super mode basically.
seems like they tried to compensate for the disadvantage by giving you the ability to "tame" animals and basically cheese your way pass that limitation.
the taming implementation is fugazi to me. Put you hands in front of 2 ton primitive beasts brehs.

It would have been better if the taming process was more involved. Maybe make you have to track the same animal for a while, make you hunt and leave food for it until it gets comfortable being near you. Then always have the risk of the animal turning on you

Far Cry Primal Features Sexual Scenes, Lots of Mutilation


Far Cry Primal, due for release in late February/early March for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, has just received the official ESRB classification.



According to the board, Far Cry Primal will feature scenes showing sexual activity (although not explicit ones) and lots of mutilated bodies. As such, it received a Mature (17+) rating.

The summary offers a lot more detail of what you can expect to find in the latest installment of Far Cry.

This is an action game in which players assume the role of Takkar, a nomadic hunter trying to reestablish his tribe. From a first-person perspective, players engage in missions that involve tracking/hunting animals, resource-gathering, and combat against rival tribes. Players use arrows, spears, and clubs to kill enemies in frenetic combat. Some sequences require stealth kills in which enemies are stabbed in the head or slashed close-up. One cutscene depicts a character being held in a fire while screaming; another depicts Takkar tapping a hole in another character’s skull as the man screams. Some scenes depict corpses in various states of mutilation: heads and torsos on spikes; ears cut off and kept as trophies; headless bodies lying in pools of blood. Certain scenes or camera angles can depict male genitalia under garments or in shadows; some female characters are depicted topless. A handful of scenes depict characters engaged in sexual activity while clothed; grunts and short moans can be heard, though no explicit details are seen.

Then again, this is hardly a surprise given the setting. Far Cry Primal will take place in the Stone Age, a period of time when it’s safe to assume that society was a lot less refined than it is now.

Are you surprised? They found their winning formula thith FC3 and will ride that donkey into the grave with Assassins Creed. I played FC4 about an hour and turned that shyt off and tossed the disc into the garbage. The game was a bad copy and paste job. Now we get this Fred Flintstone shyt

Unfortunately you're right. Far Cry 4 and now Primal being cookie cutter; Ubisoft ruins another franchise. I thought this game would be different because of the setting, but I guess not. Too bad.
