his backup is Nate Sudfeld, he'll be back lol

id tag him again tho, just dont trust his ass long term. not sure what other option they have, Bills will likely find a way to keep Tyrod just at a cheaper price

I don't see why in the NFL people think that league average and/or worst than average QB's are hard to replace. There's plenty of journeymen in the NFL, and plenty of QBs to draft every year

I'm not going to act like Kirk cousins is a top 5 qb, but he was 3rd in passing yards this season and had a solid qb rating. He's young enough and has shown enough to suggest he is improving. Look at the jets. No one wants to get on that Ryan Fitzpatrick or Brian hoyer carousel.

The 2016 Denver Broncos destroyed that theory. The Browns and jets also proved that you better have someone at least average at QB or else

Broncos just won 9 games, which is pretty damn solid. Peyton was one of the worst starting QBs in the league statistically when they won it all.

But now this becomes practically revisionist history. Ryan Fitzpatrick had a season similar to this most recent Kirk Cousins season and people were saying on this board that they had to pay him just like they're saying about Kirk now. They overpay a QB whose shown that he's actually a league average or worst throughout his career, and he regresses to his norm. We see it ALL the time in the NFL. I don't understand how or why football fans do this shyt. :gucci:

Broncos would have 12 wins minimum with Cousins at QB. If you're one of the teams left without an average QB, you're going to be behind. Ryan Fitzpatrick isnt a good comparison because hes in his mid 30s so the skills he had are eroding.

But yet the Broncos won the SB without a league average QB.

They beat the Pats in the regular season with Osweiler and he got benched this year for his trash ass performance.

Overpay for a QB when you got guys like Dak coming into the league as a 4th round pick being a MVP candidate off the strength of a solid line, running game and defense brehs:dahell:

Pats been shown the blueprint. Brady doesn't even doesn't ask for top dollar. :mindblown:

Let be reality the Washington team is in between a rock and hard place, if they don't give him a big contract, the Bronco's or another team. He's a decent QB but I don't know if ownership wants to go back to rebuilding and looking for a QB, It may make more sense for Washington to have him a 3 year contract, top load it and reload on defense in the draft.

Denver was a strong team on all levels last season and were always the exception, like the 00 Ravens & the 02 Bucs. Dallas spent five years building up the offensive line and system they currently have in place. Kansas City is the exact same whereas theyve built their system up for years where they can win with Alex Smith without JC, and they are kinda like last years Broncos. Washington just started the process to get where those teams are, so id sign Cousins for one year again, and draft a QB

Aye, people in the Lions thread told me last year if we replaced Stafford with Austin Davis or Shaun Hill and used the rest of the $ in "free agency :mjlol:", the Lions would have been better off.
