Nah it’s true. Yes Adele is worldwide famous but no one cared about her style or fashion before the weight loss. The talk was always her music and recently her personal life. Now that she’s at an “acceptable weight” she’ll be more in demand. Hollywood loves skinny bishes

Now she’s gonna be asked to be in this fashion magazine, model for this brand etc. Then the weight loss people are gonna try to pull her into their environment. I can already see it happening. As a fan I just want the music

Celebs are always gonna get shallow comments from the public about their appearances (especially when their appearances change) and shyt but it's still silly to say her celeb has been magnified when she's been one of the highest selling artists in the world for over a decade. I mean she already won Grammy's, already did a James Bond theme, how much more in demand can she be than she already has been? Plus there are thousands of skinny, "conventionally attractive" female singers who aren't even coming close to touching Adele's fame when she was fat.

lizzo ain't gonna lose weight tho for a multitude of reasons, but the main one is that she is more famous for being fat, obnoxious and walking around half naked than she is for her music. adele was never marketed that way. her music always came first (that's why she got all them inflated metrics, but her music never been hitting like that, but that's a different convo) and probably for reasons to be honest.

not a knock on adele, just the industry and tbh lizzo is a grown ass women (i think she actually older than adele) so she didn't have to make the choices she made, but she did and now her main source of income is always going to be forever tied to being a fat walking minstrel show who also makes music, sometimes.

Hard to take this serious after watching Lizzo get many of the same glam covers and photo shoots while being morbidly obese.

Adele sold an obscene amount of albums during her last run. While getting all the press, all the accolades, all the love. I have no issue with it...I like some of her music and she has undeniable talent. But you can almost guarantee we're gonna see how irrelevant twitter truly is because a LARGE (no pun intended) group of bitter fans are going to hate on the album based entirely on her weight lost...and she'll sell millions.
