From the title I thought it was a West Indian father, because older Caribbean folk, especially the men got this antiquated level of homophobia that's down right comedic at times. I remember we had this one dude house we couldn't play videogames at in the 90's because his Pops got mad at us one lunch time and threw us out, screaming "A buncha fukking man sitting on a carpet playing Nintendo ain't happening in my house!"
nikka, we were no more than 8. What are we supposed to be doing, looking to have underage unprotected sex for the sake of saying we's men, breh?
To this day, I still maintain that he got fondled with and was just out projecting.
Even my own Pops was guilty of this shyt on some sheer ignorance.
Just confirmed from another partner who was with us them times. Homey was from Barbados. shyt's the Caribbean version of Atlanta in terms of Battyman Business.
Duke's Mother "Oh gosh man! Lee de chirren dem alone nuh man! Dem inside weh we can see dem. Nah owt getting into trouble!
"Homey's Dad "A BUNCHA MAN SIT GIGGLING ON CARPET NOT WON 'OMAN RUNG DEM. JUST BARE BALLS! NAH! SEN EM HOME! MEEN CARE WHO MAD! NOT IN MY HOUSE SHIRLLLL!"
This is why i have slowly transformed into introvert after being an extrovert all my life. I want nothing to do with todays society and their brain dead ways. From the constant tiktok videos to putting personal shyt online. Society is fukked and its all thanks to social media.
Technically we was playing Sega Genesis but West Indian folk back in them days had no knowledge of videogame consoles and brands. Everything was a "Nintendo" the same way everyone in the UK calls a vacume a "Hoover". You don't know how many nikkas done had Christmas/Birthday ruined by getting NES' consoles back in the Playstation era 'cause some poor parent got spun around asking the unscrupulous shop keeper for "The latest Nintendo" only to realize they bought a last gen system and the store only giving out shopping credit, not refunds.
