If you have push start, always put the keys in the back seat if you have infants back there in car seats. You get out and can’t lock your doors without going to the back.
There were times I forgot to drop my kids off at daycare in the morning and was almost at work before I realized. They were sleep and not making a sound and I was in my own world driving. I can’t imagine leaving them in the car though. Dad needs to be charged with manslaughter or felony child abuse at least.

A sheriff said no charges will be filed against a South Carolina father whose 20-month-old boys died from heat after he forgot to drop them off at daycare and left them in his vehicle because he was under intense pressure at work.
:francis: Image your job being so tough you forget about your kids. Society has to change.
