He woke up, got ready for work, got his kids ready for daycare...went straight to work and at no time heard or saw the kids while on the road.

I understand going straight to work and being like "fukk! I forgot to go to daycare."

But, nobody called for the kids the 8, 9 hours he was at work?

It says afternoon, so, let's say he checked on them during lunch break.

He drove all the way to the daycare with dead children in his backseat? And didn't notice til he went inside and they said they weren't there?

I would like a breakdown how something like this could happened.

Right! I got a damn starting basketball lineup worth of kids and I've never forgotten they were in the car when I got out.

Two whole ass kids in two whole ass car seats and he didn't notice nothing when he got out the car to go to work or when he got back in after work or when he got out to get them from daycare? He didn't remember on the way to daycare that he never dropped them off? What kind of work does he do that stresses him out to that point and allows him to forget and not see such blatant things? He shouldn't be on any job if he's having these kinds of mental gaps and hiccups, especially in manufacturing. He's probably fukking up all over the place if he's that stressed and distracted.


I hope his wife divorces him and he gets fixed so he can never have another child. He's irresponsible as fukk.

Maybe there's a psychological explanation, but, If I'm their uncle...I'm not trying to hear that shyt.

• Create visual reminders. Place the child’s diaper bag, jacket, or hat in the front passenger seat.

• Force yourself to go to the back seat. Keep your backpack, lunch box, or briefcase there every day.

• Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle for any length of time, regardless of the outside temperature. Vehicles can quickly heat up to potentially fatal levels on even mild-temperature days.

I definitely understand in general, but, it's such a big deal to be waved away with "I forgot" anytime I read a specific story about it

And yes, a child should NEVER be left in a car even for 15 seconds.

Just to let you guys know, It is impossible to leave anything of any weight over 5 pounds in the back seat of a Kia Telluride while the car is off. You walk ten feet away and the alarm is going off. No way to stop it. It will not let you walk away without correcting the perceived issue.

This is a GREAT feature.

Car crashes are pretty normal and you run a risk of that every time you drive.

Nutting in a chic is normal.

Locking your home up is normal.

Yeah, when you're driving your usual routes your brain basically goes on autopilot. You can make all the turns, obey the lights and stop signs etc. and by the time you get out the car you don't remember a damn thing - you might as well have been sleeping. And it tracks because the only times I really remember my driving commutes are my first time going somewhere or when some weird shyt pops up. Your mind purges out "redundant" memories.
