Dude was young and driving. Dad did a good job of keeping a cool head, but son was right. They could have overheated in that car, a tree could have fell, etc. You be surrounded by fire in the woods and see if you don't :sadbron:
Damn... this post makes me think it was you driving through that shyt:dame:

yall nikkas act like the kid aint got his whole life flashing right before his eyes, And Daddy tryna be The Rock and drive through a catastrophy:gucci:
Dad trying to keep them alive..

Attempt to drive through or get stuck doing nothing and cooked alive.

Some of you never been in catastrophes at all but speak like you have. You shut your brain off and focus. It’s literally what old man was doing. Son thinking about dying old man thinking about ways to gtfo of there. You either bust a move or you fukking freeze. We had military scenarios for shyt similar to this... not everyone passed.

Son sounds like he would’ve froze if pops wasn’t there.

That's what I thought too, he's just a kid.

But read the story, the "kid" was 37 and the father was 70 :russ:

Reminds me of that story/movie of dude getting stuck/lost in like the jungle somewhere in South America or some shyt for like a month.

Instead of panicking and freezing dude found every way possible to stay alive.

i was right in my assessment then :wow:

nikka I actually lived through Katrina.. like didn’t leave shyt. :mjlol:

Lived through Andrew, Irma, about 20 other hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes, etc:mjlol:

Not to mention having to go through these type of scenarios of fires, flooding, ships sinking, etc. Just saying... :sas2:
Well I'm a woman first off...and I actually drove through the woods at 2am (got lost) leaving a going away party a few years ago and I was shook :mjcry:
yeah I’m sure thats creepy af. I’m sure being surrounded by a burning forest is terrifying but you got to bust a move.

I’m just dislike being scarey and you see people freeze in shyt all the time which usually is what gets you killed. Got to react... pops knew that. Ultimately, the plan didn’t work but it was better than sitting there. They actually lucked up by finding a boat

Why is this in Italics:dwillhuh:

And lived through it meant I navigated through it everyday, more than once, with more than one different disaster situation. Wtf are you even trying to say:mjlol:

It was about preparation and knowing to do something in certain situations when they happened. Not sitting and crying about it which is what I assumed the son would’ve did if pops wasn’t there.

And so what you drove through the OUTSIDE of the storm (trying to make it sound like you were driving through the eye of that shyt or something :mjlol:)... yippie kay yay nikka. Like you was the only nikka alive driving through a storm that day too.

And didn’t we already establish that the son wasn’t a teenage boy?
