Preach. This is literally what some of the music is sounding like.

Chillhop/Lo fi/Hip Hop Jazz/Soulection ...whatever term ..is a whole global movement...and Dilla, the Roots, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, etc and even Nujabes are the Fathers of it....without trying to be.

The one difference is the infusion of trap and electro type sound among some producers like Evil Needle or Vanilla. Also, some artists that integrate rock/blues type sounds over the break beats.

I'm not saying all of it is great.
There will always be plenty of duds.

But there are some great producers and there are some great individual tracks among it all.
