19 aliens charged with voter fraud in North Carolina following ICE investigation

A federal grand jury in Wilmington charged seven foreign nationals on August 31 on federal felony charges including falsely claiming U.S. citizenship or making false statements on voter registration application, and with misdemeanor charges of unlawfully casting ballots in the 2016 presidential election. Non-citizens are not eligible to register to vote or to vote in federal elections under U.S. law.

  • Francisco Antonio-Aguirre, age 64, Guatemala
  • Roob Kaur Atar-Singh, age 57, Malaysia
  • Rosalva Negrete-Toledo, aka Rosalva Cortes, age 65, Mexico
  • Dave Delano Virgil, age 57, Tobago
  • Eloy Alberto Zayas-Berrier, age 70, Cuba
  • Emmanuel Olakunle Atoyebi, age 31, Nigeria
  • Mokhtar Qaid Ahmed Gulaimid, age 48, Yemen

So 0.00142857143% of NC registered voters might be illegal.

Yeah, we're actually doing a GREAT job and illegals voting is not a concern.

tha'ts like 6 people.

So the local government is doing this with the EXPECTATION that a few immigrants will sway votes and get away with voter fraud?
No, the number says 19. Those were the 7 displayed. Your subtraction game is funny.
Georgia found 2,000. I'm not sharing the link, a republican congressman performed the audit, and I'm not a republican. I know how nikkas in here like to cry and lie.

This would be a good point, but immigrants can't vote. They have to apply for citizenship and they can't apply until after a some years. I'm not sure if they would even be in that neighborhood after that time. Now if you basing it on them being there long term and/or them birthing children and their kids being there long term, maybe, BUT, how active is the Asian American community as a voting block? I dont see much of that, maybe the Mexicans but how many of them will be in that neighborhood to make a difference plus who exactly will they vote for as they are not a monolith in voting based on stats.
They can’t vote for now.

In the meantime, they will be given every resource necessary to establish their communities while their immigration status gets sorted out.

Your true enemy is playing the long game.

Noncitizens Are Slowly Gaining Voting Rights

Two Vermont cities have joined the short but growing list of jurisdictions that allow residents who are not U.S. citizens to vote in local elections.

Last week, the Vermont legislature overrode vetoes by Republican Gov. Phil Scott, greenlighting voter-approved changes to the city charters of Montpelier and Winooski. Those cities now allow all residents over age 18 to vote in city elections, regardless of citizenship status. Noncitizen voting in federal elections remains illegal nationwide.

The movement to let all adults vote in local elections hasn’t had widespread success in modern times. Until lately, just San Francisco and nine Maryland cities have allowed noncitizens to vote in local or school board elections. While two towns in Massachusetts have passed resolutions in recent years calling for noncitizens to be allowed to vote locally, the state legislature has yet to approve those changes. But those cities may soon have company.

Lawmakers in Washington, D.C., Illinois and New York City this year are considering legislation that would offer the vote to noncitizens for local elections, such as for city council or the school board. These proposals have ignited the fierce debates that often come with immigration and voting rights proposals. Some states, meanwhile, have gone in the opposite direction in recent years, explicitly banning noncitizens from voting.

Okay...so we're talking about local elections...

If current citizens don't want their local officials giving non-citizens the right to vote, they can control that by voting.

The voters of all those cities decided that for themeselves.

by the time they're able to vote, the mayor will probably be out of office, and it's not a given they will be in the neighborhood for the whole period. They could but some will definitely move somewhere else in the country for work or other reasons.

All 3 of those cities have an immigrant plurality. People want to help their families.
This thread is about a local issue.

Some of you all SWORE that these Democrats and Progressives were our fukking friends and allies.
:mjlol:

When these people are dropped off in places like Martha’s Vineyard, they were kicked out the very next day after the Progressive cacs got their photo ops. One of the wealthiest areas/cities in America, full of empty mansions and they didn’t bother to let them stay long term.
:pachaha:

They’ll scream about open borders and letting these people in en masse, just as long as it doesn’t affect them in ANY way. As long as they can have these people mow their lawns, slave away, and babysit their unruly children for pennies, they’ll scream about letting them in. “We just don’t want them in our neighborhoods though!” I see right through these hypocritical Democrats and Progressive demons.

Your article about the NC voter fraud was about a National Election...that's where I got confused.

Immigrants don't necessarily like each other and don't typically vote in large numbers.

I don't see the problem with the shelter at the former school. The residents seem to be full of shyt

Na
I find it sadly ironic how other Hispanics, including people who immigrated here illegally, can recognize how illegals can displace them in housing, employment, voting, etc. and then oppose policies bringing them in.....but Black folks don't realize this.

It's a shame how clueless many of us are until it's too late. Despite all we've been through as a race, we still haven't learned our lesson about being overly accommodating to outsiders :francis:
I think part of it is when constantly portray ourselves as victims, we have to make room for other ppl and let them trample on us

We were victims, and deserve reparations

But shyt like "colonizer" as an insult, and the shyt these journalists and media be pedaling to make white ppl feel bad and give them a job shoots us in the foot
