I would normally agree with this position but a lot of these Mexicans are very racist and practice discrimination against Black people in the workplace. I'm not sure how it is with other Latin groups but I've never heard or seen anything positive when it comes to Mexicans (and to an extent Cubans). They seem to come over here with a complex. I use to think Black people were over exaggerating when it came to them (I'm in an area with hardly any Mexicans so I have limited experience with them) but seeing so many people share similar experiences has me thinking differently.

If you can’t prove it with direct and clear evidence it’s pointless fighting about it.

She probably was hired by racist Latin employees but ain’t shyt she can do unless video records or a written document proves otherwise.

I wouldn't go that far as to support Trump and never vote Democrat again. The MAGA movement in its essence is a white supremacist movement. Trump's policies fukk over black people in the long run. The dilemma of immigrants being racist towards black people is a complex one. On one hand I really don't bat an eye seeing them get deported. On the other hand masked men rounding up random people on the street isn't good either.
As bad as it sounds I really think black people just need to stick together and make our communities as unwelcoming as possible to outsiders. Not with our mouths but with our money and the resources we do have. Every other group does this with the exception of us. It doesn't mean we have to support Republicans or Trump. It just means we need to practice the same form of racism and discrimination that's practiced on us.

The mom was out of pocket but go to any restaurant or job that gets a Hispanic manager and all they hiring is their people. Happened to every McDonald’s in my area. Crew goes from diverse to all Mexican/latin within a few months.

McDonald’s throughout California seem to be hiring people with thick accents that can barely speak English, but if you go to In N Out they will only hire milktoast people that look like they go to church on Sunday - every now and then you’ll see maybe 1 person of color per every 3 locations and that will be someone who is usually mild spoken type. Doesn’t affect me but it is an eradication of one of the major entry level jobs in our society and California’s economy is actively eradicating the middle class so that is just wealthy and those on the dole, with few in-between

Why do you think there is going to be an active investigation on this and a follow up press conference briefing the public on updates?

Even if she’s right this is just a viral video of someone acting a fool inside of a fast food place

There’s no legal or societal basis for anything to come of this

And you’d be surprised, places like McDonald’s likely have a bit of leeway in this kind of thing. Probably not going to be the first priority, McDonald’s losing their workers would be a disruption to how many people in the area that visit that place daily? How many other McDonald’s gave the exact same thing going on?
