Not overtly, but there is a certain segment of FBA that espouses a level of slavery denialism.

That's the "we aren't African, we're native to America", "we were always here" section of the cult. That's the group that has feather icons in their profile and juxtaposes any black American accomplishment by how much they 'perceive' better they are doing that Africans - unprovoked.

Black Americans today no longer have anyone alive who was a slave so the connection to its horrors have been lost. This has also created a rise in conspiracies about being natives here with no one in their family to check them.

Being born in the US is more advantageous now than being born in a struggling African country with poverty. The people who are thankful for that are not wrong.

Funny how generational trauma suddenly expires when it's Black. Yet no one tells descendants of the Holocaust or 9/11 victims their pain has "timed out." If being born in the U.S. erases history, I assume generational wealth, land, or privilege should be returned too, right?

In just the last 50 to 60 years, descendants of slaves have endured redlining, mass incarceration, discriminatory lending, underfunded schools, and state-sanctioned violence.....all while being told to lace up our bootstraps and work harder

I have nikkas I went to school with who were just as smart as me but didn't make it out bc of the environment we were born into

It is this sort of disingenous arguments that makes it hard to have any sympathy for those people who demonstrate over and over again how much they hate us. You had no smoke for the Mexican, but rushed in to attack the Black American woman. Do you not see how that makes you look? Do you not understand why there are many Black Americans who have sworn off Pan-Africanism, because our own cousins in the diaspora are just as antagonistic towards us as all the rest of the ethnicities?

You thought this was a perfect example you could use to attack a group of Black Americans, but what you really just exposed (and those who dapped you up) is what your real feelings are towards our people. That being the case, you should not be surprised when my own people return that same energy back at yours.
