You know what. Maybe it is kinda me being unnecessarily biased. If people are calling and emailing that’s a start. It’s better than making bushmeat jokes on the internet.


Im not against the FBA movement even though I philosophically kinda don’t agree with it. But I do want to see Black Americans get their due and have no problem with Black Americans identifying with their particular history and culture.

I think some people have a problem disassociating the term from Tariq Nasheed and understanding that it's a lineage and not a organization/group. My parents had no idea what FBA meant when I brought it to them but by definition they agreed with the terminology and what it stands for and obviously fit the criteria, therefore making them FBA. Dudes that are detracting are making it seem like its something you can join.

This should be the case for everyone. It certainly was with the fat joe situation, people who don’t know who Tariq is went with the term. Simply because it makes sense

FBAs clearly forced BET's hands by dropping Fat Joe due to his controversial, divisive comments.

Also keep in mind that this would have been Fat Joe’s 4th time hosting the BET Hip Hop Awards, not to mention, Fat Joe was the prior host of the Award show in 2024 as well.

Again you ask any non Coli nikka they never heard of the term in the first place.

Maybe this is due to the uneducated tethers you associate with as FBA (Foundational Black American) is now a widely recognized term within the lexicon of Black culture worldwide.

You assuming Im foriegn when weeksville ( where my family is from) is one of the oldest free Black communities in the US

ABlack Man was one of the first home owners in weeksville

Then theres established Black familes and wealthy Black people bit

Greandian tether Amanda Searles knows your history better than you and the only person culturally spreading Black American history
