Oh no, i get that. I'm just saying it shouldn't work like that. This is clearly the fault of whoever set up the PPP loan system. They should be paying the consequences for this too imo.

This is low key reaching to the level of entrapment imo. Most of these poeple would have never in their lives have committed wire fraud outside this specific circumstance.

That is still on them 100 percent. I really do not see this as entrapment since the terms of getting the loan was clear. That would be like someone never thinking about stealing a car, but seeing a car with the door open and the keys in the ignition compelled them to get in and drive away. When they get arrested and found that it is a bait car, they can not claim entrapment.

The PPP terms were pretty fair, if you was genuine about it. 100% forgiveness if you could provide proof of your employees and business. But since it was so easy to get approved people jumped at the bait.
