Granted their will be lawsuits from various corporations and Repubs in congress to overturn anything they don't agree with once the overall compass of the proposal is released.

The first couple of comments make that really clear.
Its net neutrality as in "hands off the internet in name only" .. This will probably create eventually a 2 tiered internet, will probably include taxes, licenses to set up a website, and Disneyfication of the internet........they'll even say what is and what isn't appropriate content.
