The courts can override it... but as far as the supreme court goes... which is where this is going to wind up... Trump has that stacked in his favor doesn't he?
No he doesn't...

As long as Kennedy and RBG don't retire we should be good...

Only Judge we know is in favor of this is that fakkit Gorsuch whose a corporate stooge...

:mjlol:

Relax, man. That kind of packaging won't happen. If it does, the next president, can fix it.:yeshrug:

Edit: In addition to being easily remedied, unlike a supreme court pick, there are are other options besides Title II regulations. For instance municipal ISPs which I still think are a bad idea, but should be legal. At least the harm is limited to a particular municipality. Lets oppose the laws that get in the way of more of those.

The I in Team
Yep I'm not even tripping over this much because there WILL be a fight.

I for one can’t wait for the elections next year. I’m gonna be at the booth like Wyatt Earp in tombstone

“All right, Trump... You called down the thunder. Well, now you've got it! You see that? It says "Democrats 2018 landslide."... Take a good look at that, Trump, because that's how you're gonna end up!... The Rethugs are finished, you understand me?! I see a red sash, I vote out the man wearin' it! So run, you cur... RUN! Tell all the other curs the DEMS coming! You tell 'em I'M coming... and Hell's coming with me, you hear?! Hell's coming with me!

So explain why municipal ISPs are bad.

I know two examples, including one in my state where its worked out great. The only people who would be against a municipal ISP are corporations who view it as unfair competition. It doesn't prevent them from competing, they just now have to bargin down their prices to compete with the local government.

The one in my state you can get 1 Gbit downloads at 70 a month and pay it along with your electric bill. That sounds great to me.

But once again, corporate greed has resulted in these companies like Comcast to lobby local governments to prevent the establishment of local ISPs. Many places now have bills on the book that prevent such an action and to undo it, it has to go through a public vote, which is what they just did in boulder, Colorado I believe.

Bro, I'm all for municipalities to run their own ISP's if that's what residents want. I'd vote "no", but I don't have faith in my local government running anything. If I saw a few successful models out there, I could be convinced.

In the Silver Lining
I'm sitting here watching the news and all they're talking about is sexual assault alligations :francis:

The irony:francis:

There is no irony .... this is the establisment corporatocracy at work......all this blame game yall doing is futile. Both parties' heads put this fukkboi in this position, knowing damn well he represented the ISP interests.

The sunshine out of this hurricane is states, cities, Congress people, organizations, decentralized internet creators and mainly regular folks now how the impetus to add some teeth to Net Neutrality. Here's the thing if it goes to Congress, guess who is going to be standing there in shiny suits.....yep the same lobbying ISPs that supported this repeal...clones of Pai Face. So whatever law that is potentially passed its got to be air tight, and no bullshiit. Matterfact they need to add an item in any future Net Neutrality law that states any amendment has to be made separate, and not as part of some massive omnibus bill that will get passed anyway....sneaky fukkbois will look for any loophole

Here's some cotdamn hope right here

Black women trying their hardest to save this fukking country...

Lets see if they get any respect for it...

I respect both the females on the FCC... they were the only ones that were speaking the truth today.. The other 3 were paid off and it was so blatantly evident based on their statements... It's time we get the fukking lobbyists out of Washington that are paying for their agendas to get pushed through. We have to fight, we need a leader for a change that isn't a career politician, we need an actual american that's focused on protecting the fukking citizens for a change

We will resist

We will fight

We will not take the abuse ANYMORE!
