It's shameful how few of us are taught to watch and read the news. The American population is largely wholly uninformed. Too distracted by entertainment and also just too utterly stupid to pay attention to whats happening around us.

If just half the population watched and understood the news and kept up with current events, we wouldn't be in this situation.
