Welp...it was fun while it lasted y'all. Today made a year I was back with the Feds. Tomorrow is my last day. We got consolidated and since I'm the newest hire (and Black), I was probably gonna be the first fired so I took DRP. Got some things in the works but I'm gtfo the DMV area. Are you loyal to the POTUS or are you loyal to the people of the US and the Constitution
? If you can answer yes to the former and no to the latter, then you may have a shot at a job if they start hiring again.

I’m a DoD contractor with a small (under 30 employee) contract. We just got extended for another 5 years but that was in February.

Our program is a test program for a bigger program that will kick off in 2028. My company didn’t with the big billion dollar year contract.

DoD spending is getting/got increased this year I believe. We almost up to a trillion if not there yet.

My end goal was getting on with the Feds in 2028-30. I may still apply but I might just come back to the states and get a state/city job to retire under. Conglomerates, outsourcing, automation is doing a number on us. You can’t outsource teaching or many blue collar jobs.
