I’m a DoD contractor with a small (under 30 employee) contract. We just got extended for another 5 years but that was in February.

Our program is a test program for a bigger program that will kick off in 2028. My company didn’t with the big billion dollar year contract.

DoD spending is getting/got increased this year I believe. We almost up to a trillion if not there yet.

My end goal was getting on with the Feds in 2028-30. I may still apply but I might just come back to the states and get a state/city job to retire under. Conglomerates, outsourcing, automation is doing a number on us. You can’t outsource teaching or many blue collar jobs.
