It's Wednesday and nobody still has been laid off....
I’m curious what the plan is going forward
ATC/TSA will continue to function like normal for a small amount of time. I’d say around the 2nd missed paycheck is REALLY when things will start to get dicey in terms of people feeling like they need to “call in”. Plus just natural flu season. So the cancellations and delays will be really felt
Idk if the Republican party will try and find $$ in order keep those 2 entities going like they did the military
If they are, could be a lengthy shutdown

It's not about being dishonest. It's about calling out the smoke and mirrors this administration is doing to try to pressure people into folding. They're throwing out threats about what they're going to do and their bluff was called. So they tried to fire people in "Democrat leaning jobs" as a way to punish which is even more illegal than firing someone for cause. If they did it the official way they would have sent out RIFs but they're playing media games. Which is why those dummies got hit with a preemptive injunction

Now, they just put out something that grants my agency the ability to get paid. But im sure it has everything to do with making sure ICE hoes stay vigilant. Gotta justify why they getting paid but not the rest of us. Its actually a smart chess move by the right. Pay soldiers and us in critical fields, then spin it like they saved us from the Democrats.
