Kansas last week might have been bizarre or just in it for the new heel group but we'll see. A fresh group of heels who are charsimatic is going to be cheered anyway and only to a level if the babyfaces arent matched.

This has always been the case. The IWC hates something but the crowd eats it up most of the time. And your point about Jey is right. The general IWC consensus is but the crowds are hyped.

It goes to show, despite how vocal the IWC is, it’s still a small percentage of the live crowds.

I’ve been saying this for a while now in regards to the Moxley/Death Riders stuff too.

I never thought we’d be at a point where we’d tolerate the DR stuff. It was bad back in December/January. Now everyone is pretty much fine.

Goes to show how much positive stuff AEW has going on that we can look pass the DR angle.

To be fair to the DR stuff, they’ve done better with it since back in 2024 and early 2025. I mean I still don’t like it, but I don’t hate it now other than when the matches become Temu Bloodline shyt.

People dont like the death riders stuff online because they've convinced themselves whoever is their guy to restore the feeling of AEW and "turn the tide" is the gonna be the one to dethrone them. Be it Swerve or Osprey or Hangman. But they gonna keep booking them strong and then I guess stick with Darby to dethrone him which well god bless lol Might actually work with the regular crowd still.

Fans only do that when the shows aren’t good and the stories aren’t grabbing them. You can NEVER blame fans for coming up with ideas to make the show they like better, be worried when they stop

There’s two primary reasons to fantasy book

1) You’re excited about all the possibilities of where things could go. Or you’re just dreaming up fanciful things that you think would be really neat if they did it.
2) You hate what’s happening and are trying to give yourself hope things are going to be better down the line.

Now you can do both at the same time with the same company.

Either way it shows people still care. As long as you have people caring then that’s some level of good.

But like you said, it’s when they stop is when there is a problem because then that means people just don’t care anymore.
