Did Your Homey Pay You Back Fully For His shyt?
Yea
This ain't enough to fall out with homie for, imo. I get where he's coming from: You made an agreement separately with the deadbeat dude.

You may have met him through your bro, but the agreement y'all brokered was separate from the agreement you made with your bro.

I'll put it to you like this. You made an agreement with your bro. That's one agreement.

You made an agreement with bro's friend. That's another agreement.

I totally get why he doesn't want to get involved. You need to step to the other guy like a man, and tell him he gotta give you your money back and get that straight.

Only thing your bro can really do in this situation is to be like, ":francis: come on, dude..." to the friend.

But what you want him to do? Give the dude a whipping with an extension cord?

These are all grown men in this situation, including you.
I hear you, and my way of thinking is it should’ve never came to this, bc if it was me I wouldn’t have let it. I’ve gone on numerous trips and one person has booked and it’s never been an issue.

It’s not like we from Philly or Baltimore where grimy shyt goes on, we from the south where your word is your word and we stand on principles. Like if someone steals then no one wants to Fck with you bc you do

Like I said ima hold that L bc ultimately I made the choice but rest assured the bros will hear about it and no one will want to Fck with them. Where I’m from it’s viewed as a character flaw. If you owe a nikka, pay him back

I feel like you're not hearing me.

Your bro don't have nothing to do with this situation between you and @Another Man

That's not his fault. He paid you back. He took care of his debt.

If the other dude ain't paying you, that's not on your bro. That's on the deadbeat dude.

What you want your bro to do? Give the dude a spanking? :dame:

Everybody involved in this situation is a grown man, and none of you are responsible for the actions of the other one.

As far as the analogy about having your friend in your aunt's house, and him stealing something, and your aunt holding you responsible... that's a false equivalency.

A better analogy would be you invite your friend over to your aunt's house, your aunt tells your friend to come back the next day for dinner, but she wants him to bring a glass of wine and she wants you to bring a glass of wine.

You bring your glass of wine but your friend doesn't bring his.

Your aunt is not going to hold you responsible in that situation. She's going to hold him responsible.

That shyt is the worst.

You did the right thing tho, take the L on the chin and leave them nikkas behind. Your mans is wrong for saying it’s between y’all like he wouldn’t be tight if one of your friends did that to him.

Just keep it moving breh, you don’t need friends like that.

basically.

Happen to me in 1988.. :flabbynsick:

Always had money on me.. Me and the brehs off the block at the candy store. They don't have any money so they run that "buy this for me and we'll hit you back on the block"..

Of course they didn't hit me back... Thats when I realized "hood" dudes will hustle anyone..

Sounds like they already went and this man flewed some random nikka out like a Insta-Thot to Dubai. :wow:
Awwww that’s messed up considering he wasn’t even part of the OG plans, if I’m reading correctly. They used his love of credit card points to finesse.

Moral of the story is doing anything for credit points is probably a bad idea.

The only thing his bro could've done was warn him about dude.. Other than that, its ultimately up to OP to have discernment..

You really cant even say that, cause for all we know, the dude always paid his bills with the bro. :yeshrug:

Maybe dude ain't never acted grimy with the bro, and he's doing it with OP just cause....

That happens sometimes too.

@neotheflyingone you're giving terrible advice in this thread. stop it.

to the threadstarter, you have every right to be mad your bro. he likely knew the type of fucck n1gga his friend was and shouldn't have introduced him to you.

second, when money is concerned, i try to do my own thing. i dont like to involve others in my business and i do this for one simple reason. I"m the most responsible person I know. I dont do reckless sh1t and i dont need alot of excitement in my life. Most people are not like this. So when it comes to money, u do u, and please stop asking me to get involved in ur sh1t.. The answer will always be no. You must adopt the mentality.

let this be a lesson to you. in any dealings you partake in, ask yourself, what are the different ways I can get hurt in this? in your case, it is not getting paid back. or even worse, n1gga decides to pay u in chunks, week by week...having u waiting around like a dumbass. Nah. fukk that.

This is true..

Its highly possible OP 13 year bro asked his friend why he didn't pay him back and dude said "fck that nikka"..
