I've seen plenty instances of this. A lot of women that 'glow up' later in life i.e lose weight, gain a sense of style end up getting ran through and don't at all learn discretion



They expect the man to approach, that's a reason why I think they have so little sympathy for men's dating woes. In their heads it's as simple as approaching, which in a way it is, but they don't think men have feelings in the first place, so fear of rejection and the self-esteem battle of playing the numbers game (50 no's to get 1 yes) that we deal with is a non factor in their eyes.

Lastly, like you say, charm and personality genuinely does boost some women from being average. That's how a lot of women that may be 8s, 9s aesthetically struggle to keep relationships past just smashing because they lack the substance that will make a breh wanna stay
