Less packs will be opened. And if FIFA want more pack openings they will just bump price ranges, the market will be unpredictable but very bogus. This is my prediction.

Why trade or open packs when you can only get 5k max from marquee players in the CAM/CM/CDM position cause they are 84 rated? Why open packs when most 84 rated players will be capped at 5k? If they ever bring back the Brazilian league with its cheap players, its a wrap. As of forever, Serie A has the best players and cheapest players, especially midfielders and forwards. So, I would create a Serie A squad and call it a day.

I would be a fool to open packs after the first month, and even then I will get raped the first month if they cap Reus or other marquee players like Oscar or Ramires or David Luiz. Cause I sold Reus for 270k during the $4.99 Early Access period.

Its all up in the air, which I why I'm holding off full judgement until we see what they bring for FIFA 16.

Could it go totally wrong, yes. But the right moves and it could create the most balanced market in years with all players attainable and coinsellers gone. The high volume traders will never like it because that era is basically dead, but for the average player like me I am optimistic.

As for packs, yes the gigantic pack openings will not be smart if you already have your squad. Which is why I hope they decrease the amount of Fifa Points per pack so that you could drop 10 bucks and open 20-25 packs instead of 9 or 10. That way you're giving people an option without breaking your bank account or wasting your coins.

Coin sellers are fukked, this is the best thing that came out of today. They can claim they're fine and they'll just sell accounts, but when 16 starts and no one has players how you selling accounts? No more day 1 86 rated squads in Division 10 cause some kid bought 5 million to start the game, i can't wait.

Every year, we have a lot of suprises about which low rated players will become marquee players. That excitement will be gone. I will miss the 300k 84 rated Striker Neymar from FIFA 14 because he will be caped at 10k. Or in FIFA 13 where a LW Neymar was selling for 95k even though he was in the Brazilian league.

Price ranges are cool, but FUT won't be as exciting because so many players will be capped at 5 or 10k. But its worth it for the greater good.

But you need 30 players worth 250k now. 2 days ago all you needed was a bronze player and you could buy up to 15 million. So they have to now sell players in that have some worth, and not everyone is gonna have 30 expendable players that add up to 250k.

Everyone is holding on to their players, no one wants to sell. I'm not selling either (more cause I'm happy with my team and not a fear of losing profit), but I'll be interested to see if people slowly start listing big names again, if they don't will EA alter some ranges on guys who aren't on the market to try and get them back. The ones who are aren't even selling for the minimum could be dropped, and the big names who no one is listing could be raised to entice people to sell them.

But the fact people have to do that just to get 250,000 coins is a step in the right direction. We went from 1 50 rated bronze card for 15 million to 30 players either purchased for coins or packed with points or coins for 250k. That's a big change

I feel like somehow they might have increased the odds of packing good players.

If they did that we all know damn well it would be worse luck then packs, they could give you a spin for each game played and we all know it would be like 1% shot to get someone decent

I like the concept, any ways to give people a shot at players is good, its just about the pull % and whats the cost
