Doesn't feel much that different honestly
I expected a huge difference in presentation but so far it's meh. I know it's a beta but still. Release is only a month away.

The players that were scanned look very lifelike

Corner and free kicks feel more realistic
Tackling still sucks 20 dikks

any more impressions?

any more impressions?

those who play UT know whats its like to have a crazy amount of players in your club you never use. They have a squad builder where if you meet certain criteria building a squad you can trade those 11 man squads in for fresh packs. I've gotten 2 totw and a magical player in 5 days. I've never landed more than 1 totw player in a full year before. shooting is more difficult. penalties are not a given. I honestly wasn't expecting the game to feel much different than 16, but it does. Everything feels more weighted. Heavy penalties for bad touches. Trapping and juggling feels natural. More control passing. R1 press defense is less effective due to ability to make more precise passes. I've yet to see a straight up red card though and i slide tackles religiously. Can't wait for the final version but beta feeling like it might be best one yet...

Demo drops tomorrow.

I played the closed beta a couple weeks ago. Game feels amazing. Pace isn't as much of a factor, player collisions are more realistic, passing felt great. I was able to play tiki taka and dominate some games in FUT, with 65% posession and my opponent barely getting a shot on goal. This of course only worked with a few formations and you need good midfield passers to do it.

I played a lil career mode. It's mostly the same, except now they've added in the objectives like shirt sales and shyt like that. I think this year they spent most of their time on the journey and FUT, adding that FUT champions mode and the squad building challenges.

Overall I think it's going to be a great game, gameplay wise. The graphics look great, player faces are very detailed and they added all the EPL managers in the game. Only gripe about the graphics is on certain replay angles the colours look way too bright and it comes off as cartoony. Either way this should be a great FIFA.
