You need to give Cam some accountability for his performance. His ball location could improve. He overthrows receivers on a consistent basis. He is too slow with his progressions. His pocket movement seems worse than year's previous. But like you say, I attribute some of his troubles to poor coaching. In particular, Cam pocket presence seems to have regressed this year. Cam came into the league with a prodigious ability to extend plays. Today he looks stiffer than when he started. Gettleman said he wants to make Cam a pocket passer - but I reiterate that Cam is not a pocket passer. He is a mobile QB and he threw for record yards being a mobile QB. I don't think Cam can function as a pure pocket passer. He needs a scheme which gives him the option to use his legs and extend plays. Cam did not come out of college as an accomplished pocket passer. He came out as a big-armed running QB.

Steve Smith obviously lost some steps last year, he was already old Cam's rookie year,
Olsen is his most reliable target, they can't run the ball, and he doesn't have the playmakers to get him out of situations
You acting like Cam been playing like Sanchez or something, look how bad Rivers looked last year, and somehow miraculous
he's back to being Rivers, it was obvious problems with the coaching, because soon as a switch was made it was like night and day

Romo, Ryan ,Flacco, and tons of other QB's have struggled with better teams, nobody says a word, they get the pieces they need
All I'm saying is get the man an offense, is a number one pick why would pick a QB number one and not get him some playmakers
to get the ball too
If he gets a team around him and cannot produce, then he deserves to be shytted on
