I didn't see ether screen shot myself but this is what my brother told me.
All screen writing should already be done... And only minor to major tweaking left.
Since game 1 is already animated, it is likely game 2 is already animated and game 3 is the one in progress.....or completed.
Voice acting is probably in the work or mostly completed. for all parts ..
The one thing that will take a year in between games...
1- troubleshooting and quality control
2- tweak and adjustment to make the game better if they feel they are lacking...
3-changes in directions ( more episodes)
But as he said...when it was announced...it was probably a year+ in production..and add to that it has been 5 years since they announced it ..

definitely copping, favorite ff game to date (ain't really play no others 
). Had this as a kid but ain't beat it, was at the flying ship battling a form of Genovah (Ginerva?) and my little brother broke my memory card so wasn't no point in playing since i wouldn't be able to turn off the game. Did get it later on ps3 and finished.

I pre ordered the steelbook already I hate to buy it again
I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition and that explains the email I got from Amazon a couple of days ago saying the delivery date might change. But then they sent another email yesterday saying the updated delivery date is still April 10th. I hope that holds up
