I'm probably the only person that really liked FFXIII. It's one of the few rpgs that I've 100%'d. The combat system was dope to me and towards the end of the game you damn near become invincible and I like that type of shyt.

It was the beginning of the new system they were developing that's almost at it's Apex.


They said their goal was to get fight scenes on the level of Advent children

Tidus, Yuna, Rikku, Wakka, and ESPECIALLY Auron are all memorable. Matter of fact I'll say they are the most memorable cast right behind FF7's.

And technically it did have an over world map once you got Cid's ship. The linear pathways were just to progress the story, but you didn't have to follow them straight up. Had plenty of paths to venture to collect special weapons, items and even summons.

Basically what I'm saying is you don't know what the fukk you are talking about.

on another note which FF has got the best OST? 8 or 7???

i dunno you know i think ff7's highs are only matched by the castle and the extreme but I think on the whole I prefer 8's whole ost overall nowadays...

nikka 10 is EXCELLENT. Y'all are on crack for thinking it is a bad game. Why the fukk you think it was the first to get a direct sequel? The story was so engaging with very likable characters. FFX is probably my 2nd favorite game of all time. fukk anyone hating on it.

Again, user reviews don't lie. If you hate this game, you are overwhelmingly in the vast minority. Most loved it. The decline really started when they switch to a more MMO style combat, ala FF12 and later. Any other opinion is delusional.

Zero memorable characters or villains, but the story was so amazing, no over world linear pathways for the entire game, everything wrong XIII comes from this game down to it having sequels

Game still looks great but I’m still worried Square is about to pull a fast one on us with a “full game” experience AKA a bunch of dull fetch or kill this monster side quests.
