Sony should do another exclusive deal with square as I’m sure they’ll move a lot of PS5s if this only comes out on it.

I was reading that they said that redxiii isn’t playable in the first remake, and I heard it was because the first part of the remake ends at the end of midgar, so there really isn’t time to play as him, he’ll be with you, but you can’t control him.

I also heard that the part one remake in April is as long as a regular final fantasy game.

So idk how they are really making this, but I did read that.

Basically what I’m wondering about is how they’re gonna make a 5 hour part of the OG game into a long remake.

Yeah bro, I can see it now; long ass cutscenes.

But I still have hope that there will be more gameplay because even with long cutscenes there’s no way that they can make midgar into a full game without adding a lot more to the story.

If I recall the remake is 30-40 hours, the midgar in the OG version is like 5-6 hours, they just can’t do that bullshyt with cutscenes lol.

FFXV is 40GB on PS4 and takes about 30 hours to finish the story.

FFVII Remake is on TWO bluray discs and is 100GBs total.

Side quests will be as large as the main quest and Midgar is big enough that they said they have vehicles in the game.

Nah disk one was the meat of the game. People tend to forget that.

If I recall it was at least like 18 hours or more, I feel like the 3rd disk was like 6 and the 2nd one like 10

No, the bulk of the game was disc 2.

Nah, disc one was by far the longest story wise. Disc two could be longer I guess if you ran around grinding and also did a bunch of side quests.

That demo was a huge boost, I've had friends who never fukked with FFVII but were always at the cutscenes/Advent Children/Crisis Core.

I always felt ff7 would be better with real-time combat compared to turn-based.

Yeah I never realized it until I actually found out how long Midgard was. I didn’t play the OG version for long, so I assumed the end of midgar was the end of disc 1 lol.

Come to find out I heard disc one is 20-25 hours, and midgar is only 4-5 hours.

So now you wonder, how many fukkin parts will they make?

Are you telling me part 2 will finish the first disc?

I did hear a rumor about 4 parts.
