That was a hostile work environment. :mjpls: They also used you to further isolate yourself by having you terminate the other two black people. A truly demonic atmosphere.
I kind of felt that was the plan as well :mjcry:

I felt that my boss wanted to fire me a long time ago but didn't have the grounds to do so because I crossed all my ts and dotted all my i's

I was a damn good office manager as well :wow:

I'm the only black person in my department. Yesterday at our quarterly meeting, my direct supervisor asked what a URM was. My director (who's indian) explained to him while laughing and kindly glanced around the room and locked eyes with me to see if I was "affected" by it. He quickly changed the subject and started asking everyone if they had any other acronyms they wanted him to solve. Everybody laughed:wow:
In my head I'm like how the hell are you a 35 year old white man that's worked in HR his whole life and not know what that is.

How can I get into HR?

He pulled me to the side weeks ago to bad mouth the other employees in the office (black employees btw)

He found an issue with every black employee I hired and had me to fire them :wow:

I couldn't bare it any longer.

I came in this morning like usual.

Finished my morning duties ( huge work load since I had to fire the Secretary ) once my ex Boss made it into the office , I met with him for a meeting . I didn't tell him the main reason why I was quitting but I explained to him that I had a better opportunity with benefits ( something that he refused to offer ) and that today is my last day. I thanked him for the opportunity and gathered my things. He wished me luck and good bye. It took everything in me to not tell this racist mf how I really felt.

But at least I locked another gig down before quitting :blessed:

Why not give him a piece of your mind?

Might've given him a wake up call.

Very least wouldve felt good.

I'm not Jewish however l did grow up in a mostly Jewish community so I know Jews.

Are you assuming I was the cleaning lady because I'm a young black woman ?:martin:

I was the office manager.

I know that's hard to believe by cacs like you :sas2:

I'm assuming you were either the cleaning lady or a secretary. I find it hard to believe that a private Jewish law firm would place you into a position like office manager.

I've been working since I was 18 breh. This wasn't the first law firm I managed and my references and job history got me the job. ( I have a couple degrees as well)
