Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
In my apt the property manager gave the go-ahead for the floor guys to take all the carpet out and put down vinyl flooring all over. What difference, feels like a new spot. Much cleaner, modern look, and way easier to maintain then that old carpet.

Had to do a bit of a move job cause they only do flooring when folks move out, and its a 1 day job, however since I'm good with mgmt I was able to get it done still being in the spot. Moved all the furniture to the back of the apt, floor guys did the living room and kitchen areas, then moved everything from the bedrooms upfront in the done areas. Floor guys put me on to Daptex expandable sealant to seal off the gaps around the walls where the trim meets the floor.

Once I get a house next year its gonna be vinyl flooring throughout, no carpet.
:picard:

Are they gonna reimburse you for upgrading their apt?

Vinyl flooring is for bathrooms and kitchens. Hardwood is the much better option.

:russ: Dont tell me you got vinyl flooring in the living room and bedrooms. Hell naw.
Vinyl flooring is the new hot shyt. Mimics the look and feel of hardwood on the surface pretty good but at one-tenth the cost and is waterproof. They're making it for every part of the house now. Did my bathroom last year during the pandemic lockdown. Having carpet is not the move anymore imo

Most wood floors, even in newly built 500k plus homes are imitation wood made out of vinyl….. less cost, easier to maintain and replace……

like this, no shoes breh :wow:
I had nice vinyl at my previous house, my new crib has hardwood, it's not all that noticeable. Also, I never got a splinter walking on vinyl.

The flooring in that photo looks like luxury vinyl btw.

Back in the days you only had hardwood. Then came a cheaper alternative which was laminate but it wasn't waterproof. Now vinyl is the thing which is even cheaper than laminate and waterproof. Head over to your nearest Home Depot or Lowes and you'll see that the flooring game is hi tech now. If this isn't your house, this floor in this pic could be any three of them really. This could very easily be vinyl

Actually luxury vinyl plank so the best option hardwood is too much to maintain

:mjlol: What yall want a zero maintenance lifestyle? So what you HAVE to clean something. You have to upkeep your home.

You still have to clean vinyl just like hardwood. Vinyl is not a dirt repellent. The bottom of yall feet gon look disgusting.

Yall still gotta wash dishes. If everything plastic you still got take out the trash.

You still gotta change air filters in the house.

You still gotta clean toilets, tubs, showers, bathroom.

You still got to vaccum and use a carpet cleaner. Clean all the dust in the house. Blinds and Windows.

You should have a air purifier in your crib.

Countertops, stoves, ovens, mocrowaves, refrigerators, vent above stove still has to be cleaned. Etc etc

Yall get the point. You still have to maintain your crib you nasty mfs. :russ:
