:mjlol: What yall want a zero maintenance lifestyle? So what you HAVE to clean something. You have to upkeep your home.

You still have to clean vinyl just like hardwood. Vinyl is not a dirt repellent. The bottom of yall feet gon look disgusting.

Yall still gotta wash dishes. If everything plastic you still got take out the trash.

You still gotta change air filters in the house.

You still gotta clean toilets, tubs, showers, bathroom.

You still got to vaccum and use a carpet cleaner. Clean all the dust in the house. Blinds and Windows.

You should have a air purifier in your crib.

Countertops, stoves, ovens, mocrowaves, refrigerators, vent above stove still has to be cleaned. Etc etc

Yall get the point. You still have to maintain your crib you nasty mfs. :russ:
Hardwood requires more than cleaning. It chips and pieces of wood can break off. I’m good on that. LVP for the win.

Not putting anything except hardwood or tile in my own home. With tile just make sure to buy a couple extra boxes in case a repair is ever necessary.

Don't trust all this vinyl/plastic shyt and nowadays the prices aren't that far off from ceramic tile. Yes installation is more expensive but it will look much better, NEVER goes out of style and is also waterproof/easy to clean. Plus it will never look cheap. To me a house can be beautiful and match with all of my taste, but if it has vinyl/laminate or even engineered wood flooring, it basically ruins it for me. My offer would take into consideration that I'm going to replace the floor. Unless it is clearly damaged that will rarely ever happen with tile (or hardwood for that matter).

I understand using it in basement, but LVP is one of those things that in 10 years everyone will be ripping out of their main living areas bc it's no longer in style.

Why? Carpet is easy to replace and depending on the age of the home there might be a beautiful hardwood floor underneath.

Hardwood lasts for decades and no it doesn't constant cleaning. Ain't like the shyt breaks down once a month.

Y'all can have that cheap shyt, meanwhile if I sell my house it'll be more valuable

Hardwood is the best. Feels great looks great, gentle mopping with just plain water is good enough. You can also refinish it with different stains.
