Finally read Cosbys whole speech. Why would a black person disagree?

1. Cosby's overall point was that you can't claim you're a victim when you've engaged in illegal/wrongful behavior. Moreover, he was speaking in hyperbole, not in the literal sense.

2. Mike Brown wasn't shot because he robbed the store of rollies. He was shot dead following a physical altercation with Darren Wilson outside of the store/in Wilson's squad car.

mike brown was shot because wilson knew he could get away with it. cops go upside our heads worse than what he got daily and we wouldn't be justified in killing them.

no nikka..my problem with the speech is what I said earlier in the thread..it was condescending...hypocritical..stereotypical and judgemental...shyt had some truths in it..but shyt was over simplified..lacked context..and not well thought out...

my problem with the speech is its condescending, doesn't address white supremacy, and justifies the murder of blacks over 2 dollar cake.
