1. We acknowledged that the delivery was less than ideal. Stop beating the dead horse.
2. He didn't explicitly address white supremacy because it's assumed that the members of the audience (the NAACP) already knew about the white supremacist structure. Moreover, he was speaking at the 50th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education so it's apparent (and thus didn't need to be pointed out) that white supremacy existed and continues to exist.
3. Now you're reaching; he NEVER justified the murder of blacks over cake. Again, he was using hyperbole to emphasize that, some times, blacks bring on a lot of problems on ourselves . Moreover, he was calling on black parents to take control and be more proactive in their children's lives.
Has he been proven to drug and rape anybody? When did that verdict come out?
What should we do?

i don't care if he did or not. cosby told us we're the problem, we need to pull our pants up and stop speaking ebonics so we wont have to worry about white supremacy. well cosby is articulate and never sagged, and white supremacy is kicking the hell out of his brand. so maybe he'll learn a lesson either way.
People who steal out of necessity are few and far between. Most people commiting crimes are not doing it out of "real" need.

If you aren't being super nice or being funny we, sadly, don't want you to talk to us about the ills is in our community. If he had Madea out there wisecracking after every other paragraph it would be a non issue. But since it was all bluntness with no chill on the ether and most of all, because it rang true, butthurt folks had a problem with it. lol @ folks saying it was condescending. What kind of p*ssy ass bullshyt is that?
We do need to get our stuff together out here in these streets regarding the recent activities...but let's not behave as if we aren't on the hook for some shyt ourselves.
How can you call yourself a man, say a man pointing out actual wrongs is being condescending(simply because he isn't acting an ass while he does it; believe me...folks will tell you it wasn't the message it was the delivery), and still look at yourself in the mirror every morning? I really wonder about some of you kats.

Cosby finally realized that being nice never got anybody anywhere. Say what you want, but people are still talking about this speech after all this time. The nice people have long been forgotten and written off as weak.

Some of you know where this dude is coming from but you are letting your emotions blind you. You end up doing alot of the stuff you accuse him of doing. It's so fun to sit back and watch psychology at work.

Mohammed isn't even an African or "black" name.
He's attacking people of sub-Saharan African descent for having the temerity to not give their children Anglo-Saxon/European sounding names. Plain and simple.
the current culture of black America is not sustainable.
