You pretty much need a PhD to make any kind of good money in psych from the psychologists I know told me. How far are you from completing your PhD?
I'm outta psych doing business shyt now (org sciences is a combo of org psych, comm, and business shyt). I'm working on my dissertation now. It should take 2 semesters to complete. But working full time and doing a diss is very difficult. I am thinking about dropping out, cuz unless you stay in academia, a phd is worthless. I kinda want it though, considering I've worked this hard so far and paid this much for it. But that is the gambler's fallacy though, right?

Sallie Mae:wow:. They are ruthless breh. If they're not federal :to:.

135k :damn::damn::damn:

Go to college brehs
Not even that bad breh, if you're smart about it. Choose a major with good prospects, community college first or just go directly to a well repped state university since they're usually cheaper than private ones, and have a good enough GPA and commitment to get scholarships. I'm going into my third year and I haven't gone over 15k. At this rate, monthly payments will be fine.

I wish they were private. Then I could declare bankruptcy and have them off my record. But since they're gov loans, not even bankruptcy will get rid of them :damn:

I thought about that, but that's a temporary solution. I can't stay in school forever. I'm happy making mid 60s right now. Well I was when i was only paying 547 a month in student loans. Now, I gotta make 100K or something, and that's not happening anytime soon.

If I go back to school I gotta pay more tuition (cuz you gotta be full time), which I can't do being a GA making 14K a year

I just went through that government website and they hooked me up with Sallie Mae. I just assumed it was the way it worked. They accepted my IBR and I thought it was all good.

Now this bullshyt. It's blindsided me. I dunno what to do :sadcam:
