But low key, you might have to. Prenups are more normalized to ask for, so hopefully paternity tests are normalized.

I'd have too, just for my sanity and mental health, and because of the woman. I'm basically rewarding her for what she did if I stay.

It sounds selfish, but please don't do that. You have to put yourself first.

I'm not saying I'd completely cut myself out of the child's life (I'd still financially be there), but I don't think I'd be able to be with that child consistently.

Think he summarised that wanting compensation wasn't about him denying his role as a father, that it was about not wanting to be taken for a ride.
