Yeah once you reach 1k subscribers and 4k watch hours you can run ads. Took about a month for my channel. Then you gotta start an Adsense account and get approved and you can run the ads and get paid. And YouTube monetizes all my videos. There is nothing illegal about it. I’m not taking anyone’s music, everything is original

Yes that is illegal. You’re using his name image and likeness to profit. When they find out about it they’re going to give you a cease and desist, or you’re going to get sued to oblivion

What did he do? I think this is new territory legally. But I’m not taking anyone’s beats or lyrics, I’m just able to get their voice. So I’m not sampling any music and I have to write all the lyrics. I use #aimusic hashtag in the descriptions. My channel was monetized in 30 days. It’s only about 3-4 months old. I haven’t had any issues at all getting paid so far
