I love RJ man, lol.. ever since the trade he is my fave. Glad we didn't trade him. I rather Quickly gone. RJ is slotting in nicely right now in that playmaker role. Glad Ochai getting burn with the 2nd unit.

I know that's why I don't know why they keep calling him the odd man out. He can totally work in this system, it's not overcrowded for him. He will pass and also drive consistently. He would sign a team friendly extension too.

I actually said no in the summer. They kept calling too which they never do so I was surprised. But then I changed my mind but my seats were taken. Told my rep to reach out if something comes up. I should have renewed and just flipped everything in my final year lol. Took a BATH last season.

Funny that last year I was cheering for as many losses as possible because I wanted the raps to capture the Flagg in the draft. But I saw that the fix was in when the mavs won the draft lottery and Flagg was picked by Dallas a month later . I guess The nba made a Handshake agreement between the lakers and the mavs. I reluctantly realized that the nba will always rig the draft lottery in Favour of some teams anyway so I accepted that harsh reality and saw tanking as a pointless strategy to use in the nba. It’s better for the raps to build their team the old fashioned way, through good management decisions, g-league development, pro/amateur/international scouting, trades and free agents(yeah I already know Toronto is not the most desirable destination for quality free agents ), without tanking and trying to lose games just to get a top 5 pick.
This season I’m cheering for wins, solid team chemistry, hard work, intensity, hatred of losing, competitiveness, entertainment value, defense, good shooting, and effective execution above anything else. I don’t want to see the Raps desperately trying to win the tank wars anymore for the rest of my existence but rather see them win often and have fun on the court instead . Just Make the product great again. Let’s bring back the credibility, swagger, respectability and aura we had in the wethenorth/masai/messiah ujiri era 5-7 years ago. We had standards of excellence, we were a world class franchise/organization back then. Now we’re just mid, boring and irrelevant af.
