You’re saying Oladipo is a better player than Derozan? Listen, I don’t really like Derozan but he’s easily a better player in my eyes.
derozan is avg like 27 in the playoffs, minus that washington game he went iso derozan hes been pretty good
it comes down to coaching, casey is being outcoached.

both lowry and derozan played great, none of them were guarding lebron or kevin love
He's not but they gotta play them. Casey let Love scored on what it seems like 10 straight possession with CJ at the 4.
Raps can't go small without Ibaka playing the 5
I wouldnt say GREAT,they both went invisible in the second half again,alot of the numbers is first half bursts from them...
Nobody is beating LeBron when hes making some of those shots but they did go soft in the second half....one thing about DeRozan thats becoming more clear,is its gonna be hard to win with him as a 1st option cuz his defense is so bad....He needs to be hidden on defense too often.
The other Casey was fukk up was going back to Ibaka in the 2nd and 3rd,Ibaka should have never seen the floor again...
You cant play him at this point..I would rather go OG and Siakam together in a small lineup at this point...Ibaka has shown you nothing since Game 1 of the Wizards series,thats enough sample size for me to pull him from the rotation after the 1st quarter....
What’s really frustrating with Derozan is he has made some great defensive plays at the end of games this playoffs, which means he’s capable. Clearly he just doesn’t give full effort most of the time.
Quite obvious the defense is the problem...They look like a high school team defending,so many break downs on switches and coverages and assignments..
Theyre giving no resistance,Cavs are driving way too easily for uncontested buckets....offense struggles at times but they cant get back into games and they get build leads cuz there defense cant stop anything....4th quarter they were trading buckets they couldnt get a stop,just breakdowns all over the place...compounded by some assinine matchups were using....
He will try at the end of games and last minute possessions,most of the game he barely tries to contain his man and gives up on the drive far too easy...Hes just a lazy defender who doesnt take pride in defense....
