That 2nd quarter killed them in addition to the first I just thought the Raptors thought they could engage in a shootout with the Warriors. They got too comfortable in the 1st going back and forth with the Warriors and Demar getting a hot start. However, they showed some guts coming back down from 27. CJ choked at the line and the shot Demar was a good clear one and he missed it. But the performance is a good one to build on.

The only team that can engage in a shootout with the Warriors is Houston. Toronto despite being top 10 in 3points made they are horrible percentage wise and attempt a whole lot of 3PT FGs. I know they got CJ miles for it but it needs to improve.

1st half defense really cost them at the end

Also Demar has to.be smarter innthe last minute of games like this....that was a dumb shot to try to win it....

Was this close game an indictment on Lowry? can the team survive without him?

Hard to say VV and Wright cannot score like him but they don't make the turnovers and mistakes he does under adversity. If there was ever 2 games I might agree we don't need Lowry to contend it's these 2....

We need Lowry and to suggest otherwise is unwise.

But this team is looking fantastic right now. Defensively sound (except today's first half), great bench, a clear 1st option offensively. We are a complete team.

One thing Lowry does in games like this he tries to do too much and turns the ball over and takes bad shots....

With Fred and Delon we don't have to worry about those mistakes cuz they know there roles...i don't necessarily think Lowry would have made a difference tonight....he probably would have been as effective as Ibaka.

Idk about this particular game but for our season as a whole and for us to succeed in the postseason, we ironically need one of the worst postseason performers in history.

It's not even the points or assists or 3s but it's just what he brings to the floor as a leader. I think Lowry has taken more of a back seat this season so he is less likely to fukk up. Plus the improved ball movement has limited his chances of fukk up iso ball, even though it still rears its ugly head every so often.

Still....you don't just throw away your 2nd best player and think it will turn out for the best.

We aint throwing him away cuz hes here for 3 years but i dont think in tonights game he would have changed the outcome....He plays better against bummy teams.

Against Warriors,Cavs he tends to underwelm with his stupid ass trying to draw a foul off balance jumpers and dumb ass passes to make up for his 2 for 13 shooting.
