What’s gonna happen against the Cavs is basically what happened against Houston. Harden was absolutely unstoppable and made it scary all game but he had great role players to keep it close.

Lebron in playoff mode is better than Harden but the Cavs are so much worse than the Rockets talent wise that it’s a similar type of result.

There is no Eric Gordon or Capela on the Cavs just a very good 2nd option but not great like CP3. If the Raptors can gameplan to make sure the role players are utterly ineffective, it should be a close but winnable series for the Raps.

They have some infusion of youth and athleticism but they aren’t as good as the bench players on the Raps there’s a huge talent gap. I think FVV Siakam Poetl Delon are better than Hood Clarkson Nance and Hill. Even though Nance is very good I think his impact can’t be that great against Ibaka who is still marginally a better player.

Raptors arent perennial playoff chokers,thats why it aint the same..this team was in the ECF and 2 wins away from the finals 2 years ago.Last 2 years they lost to better CLE team as the lower seed,how is that choking ? In 2014 they lost in 7 games on the last play of the game as the 3rd seed,first time DeRozan and Lowry had been to the playoffs,was that choking ? IM here to squash all the BS narratives....

This is a great team in 2018 and deserves all praises due...

Nobody picked this team to win 60 and lead the East,this team is the hands down the best story of the NBA season and its not even close...Whatever i say about Casey i cant deny he should be the unanimous COY and its shouldnt be close,him winning COY should be more of a lock than Harden winning MVP...

This staff and organization deserves huge praise for developing this bench...and it barely gets talked about.


Mavs lost in 2007 as 1st seed to the 8th seed Warriors coming off a 60 win season...Raps have never done that and yet get dragged like were perennial 1st seed chokers and were in the same class as the Wizards....its disgusting.

Look at how the ESPN panel try to shape our win against the Rockets before it even happened,trying to tell everyone it was a scheduling loss cuz the Rockets were playing 3 in 4 nights OF COURSE failing to mention it was also 3 in 4 nights for us...

NBA analysis is disgraceful and the worst of the major sports.

or "lowry and DeRozan always choke against the cavs" the only series they truly choked was against Washington, that was their first time in the playoffs. Since then both have under performed in series that they have won, and have actually played better against the cavs than they have against any other team. We've just simply been worse than them, untill this year.

u got fellas like nick wright saying the last time the cavs lost to someone in the east it was great teams like orlando and boston, and how theres no team in the east as good as they were. then goes on to compare this cavs team to the 66 wins cavs teams back then that had top 5 defenses lol.

VanVleet impressed me tonight, his calm play on both ends was the key to the Raptors comeback there. If Casey is smart, he plays down the stretch in the playoffs because Lowry looks already

Am I, 1st Half Nets especially Russell were torching Lowry. The game didn’t really change until the VanVleet came in along with Miles in the 2nd unit. You gotta admit that at least.

I would say the entire unit,game changed when CJ start getting hot....Russell did all his damage in the 1st and he wasnt torching Lowry,he was hitting cuz we were switching on every one and leaving our bigs on him....

I never thought I’d say this... but Fire Casey was a terrible idea. He’s a top 5 coach in the NBA. MIND YOU he’s only become this good this season. He’s been absolutely horrible the last few years. I don’t know why he’s hit the switch this yearX

Breh when you know that if you miss the shot that regardless you’re going to get another clean look because the ball is zipping around, it does wonders for your confidence. I’ve seen Siakam air ball a 3 and get the ball back on a defensive stop to shoot another one. The ball movement is making the role players better.
