If we roll to the playoffs with 5 wins on the bounce, same defensive intensity as we shown against Boston and Indy @ home, then I'll feel real confident going into the playoffs again.
I think you gotta stick with what’s been working. The bench has played so well this year and we have to use them to ensure we can keep our energy high. Dallas won the championship in 2011 giving their bench heavy minutes.
What happens when opposing teams sag and dare Delon, Poeltl, and Siakam to make a jump shot? When they're together as a unit.
The hope I think is we can play defence well enough that that group won’t have to face too many set defences. Also, I think that’s why Casey has been experimenting with Derozan playing with the second unit.
But to directly answer your question, I think if you’re Delon or Siakim that you gotta shoot it if you’re open.
They don't even take shots during the regular season, I don't think they'll hit many under the pressure of the playoffs, same with OG

We have some of the most topsy-turvy fans ever. Casey should be fired. JV is useless etc. I've heard it all.
I'm just keeping low-key till the playoffs anyway. Still have some concerns but proud of what the team has accomplished so far.
Delon 3s been much better so definitely shoot....IF they sag you bring Lowry IN.
The issue is not for me what the other team does,its how fast is Casey gonna react and adjust to things.

How culpable would the players be if they lost in round 1?
Casey probably should be fired (were it to happen) but people shouldn't jump the gun on an outcome that hasn't happened yet and with a coach that has brought this team from strength to strength over the last 5 years or so.
As for JV, at least he isn't totally useless because he brings it offensively (in limited minutes too) and has some favourable match-ups. We've had worse defensively before. Remember Calderon?
JV is still a 2nd tier centre in this league, which is good enough. Plus Ibaka can cover some of his defensive liabilities and our bigs off the bench are good defensively (Pascal, Bebe, Jakob is fundamentally sound etc.)
Players would be culpable but whats easier, to get rid of 3-4 players or fire a coach ?
Val is not completely useless when he scores the ball in the post and rebounds he is useful,he is useless tho defensively and the obvious sign of that is he doesnt play 4th quarter late in games very often....His PnR defense is emabrrasing and he does not protect the rim with any regularity...
Calderon was bad but your starting center being atrocious defnesively is a bigger issue since its near impossible to keep opposing guards in front of you anymore....
