It make no sense sinking this team. This is the most engaged Toronto fans have been since the VC days. Toss that away for 5+ years of struggle? Naw. That's not a plan. We got to pay for talent and fill holes.

Every era we go through this. We get a solid core, we don't sign talent, then we dismantle the team and become mediocre, then repeat.

I wouldnt say a complete rebuild but the only way Toronto improves is by draft/trades...because no quality free agents are ever going to sign there

Why does Casey insist on playing DeRozan with the bench ??? it doesnt work,it has not worked all season,why do we still force it on this team ???

Just play the 5 man bench together without DD it works better without ball stopping and a weakness on defense at the 2...

The bench looks so much better with Lowry in there. I don't understand why Casey forces himself to stick with the same lineups when DD + the bench, Miles at the 4, and Poeltl/Ibaka hasn't worked all year! Unbelievable.

However I would look to package lowry with the young talent and trade for a quality player(s)

I actually think Tornoto wont get over the hump until DeRozan is your 2nd best player.

First we need to get a better coach.

Then get some pieces to salvage this team. I'm not as worried about scoring as I am about Defense
