The ending was such a letdown.

i thought there would be a government conspiracy, but no. I thought the missing girls would end up dead, but no, they just went joyriding. I thought I'd get to see Delilah, but no. It was just an old ranger who got his son killed and was monitoring us. What a letdown. :why:

Great art direction and mystery up until the end though. I really wanna replay this in VR. Here's hoping it gets patched in :sadcam:

Tbf their a small independent studio, pretty sure it's their first title as well. I like the idea but from what I saw it just looked linear AF like the map isn't a challenge to navigate and it's all pretty straight forward.

I think if someone like Rockstar made this into a fully fledged open world title with more gameplay options and possibilities it would be dope.

Yeah, it's their first game. I expected a better story though, considering this team helped make TWDS1. Oh well, it was good until the ending.

Yeah ending was trash, I read on Reddit how it was purposely ended like that to highlight people being paranoid about nothing when isolated for long periods of time. I don't buy it though, ending was a cop out for me.

Just beat it. It's the definition of a walking simulator. The story was mysterious and good, but the ending was a letdown. I give it a 7.5 outta 10. Don't buy it for $20. Wait for the inevitable sale when it's $10.

There seems to be no replayability though, because there really aren't any choices. It's more like a linear movie that you just watch.

There's less interaction than Telltale games and the landscape is barren as fukk.

This would be a great oculus rift game though. I hope they port that in somehow. I'd replay it again with my rift if they did, just to experience the atmosphere and great art direction in VR.
I liked Gone Home but I think I'm gonna pass on this one for now. For a story driven game to have a meh ending, thats pretty wack. :francis:

For sure. It's worth $10 on a sale though. The dialogue and graphics are pretty good (at least on ultra on PC). Too bad about the ending though...

just finished it...
they pulled a Gone Home :francis:

kept waiting for something interesting, but it ended up being a pretty mundane story. this one was a little worse, since it included stronger red herrings. and some shyt still don't make sense to me, like how Delilah didn't know about that fenced in research area

game was cool though. shyt was just kinda short, and the narrative felt like it was trying too hard to mislead you

:damn: the framerate is horrible on the ps4. Some parts of the fukking game wont even load

Yup I bought it on PS4 cos I knew it would be a couch game for after work for a few days

But them frame rates where dipping at points that made me wish I got it on the PC

Didnt ruin the gameplay for me at all though.. just made me :francis:

Based on what others have said If anyone is going to purchase ... go for PC

But as @Ciggavelli said... with hindsight just wait for a sale :yeshrug:
