man the 80s were simply crazy. the "paid in full" story was really just 3 dudes from one neighborhood in one borough in one city. yeah they did their thing but they weren't kingpins running the whole city. think of how many other "Alpos" there were across NYC during that time. their story was wild but for the time it wasn't uncommon. that era was just wild.
