I would rather watch SAS vs SB. Put them up against other people, and it is no longer a debate. Any other debaters DEFER to SAS or SB. Deference is a way to get talked over for 2 hours (unless they are special guests). Any other debaters wait politely for their turn to talk instead of contributing perfectly-timed ad libs.

Only SAS has the guts to talk over SB.
Only SB can make SAS shut the fukk up with all that preaching sometimes.
Only SAS and SB know each other well enough to resort to hilarious personal attacks when losing an argument with no hurt feelings afterward. Watching those two interact was like eavesdropping on two personal friends trashtalking sports and ripping each others opinions.

Great Points! I would rather watch the old First Take with Stephen A. & Skip as well, but of course since the show has been revamped, I prefer Undisputed now over the new overhauled FT with Max Kellerman.

If you're watching Undisputed then it's solely for Shannon, because Skip is using his same old shtick when it comes to topics. Outside of the debates about protesting their discussions have been very mediocre imo.

Liz Mullen of SportsBusiness Journal is reporting that Stephen A. Smith has switched agents from Headline Media Management in New York to talent agency CAA in Los Angeles. The point of the move is clear.

SAS wants to get paid.

Smith did sign a multiyear contract extension with ESPN last year that pays between $3.1 and $3.5 million annually, but Sporting News is saying that Stephen A. thinks the game has changed in light of the deal Skip Bayless got from FS1. Bayless reportedly makes $5.5 million annually over four years and also received a $4 million signing bonus.
It’s worth noting that CAA also represents FS1’s Bayless, Colin Cowherd and Jason Whitlock. They also rep ESPN’s Mike Greenberg.

After seeing so many high-priced talents walk out the door (or get pushed out the door) in recent years, it’s unlikely ESPN is going to let Smith go without putting up a fight. Still, it’s hard not to see the leverage that FS1 has created for someone like him simply by existing. As for how serious SAS would be about moving to the West Coast to work for the upstart (he’s an East Coast guy through and through), that remains to be seen. Smith is also going to want to cover a lot of NBA games and he’s going to have ample opportunities for that as ESPN that he won’t find with Fox.

I was actually about to make this thread earlier.

Undisputed is so much better so far. Max and Stephen A just don't mix well together...Max is not well suited for that show IMO. It is a morning show that thrives on heavy trolling by one of the participants....Skip Bayless is great at that.

That is why I said ESPN should have hired the English guy.
As his unfamiliarity with America sports and his opinion would have worked better with screamin a.
To the point, it would have been better.
if English soccer guy would have ramped and got a troll game he would have been better than max.
Max is too thorough and analytical for screamin a and he usually owns Steven a.
Steven a worked against skip because he was a better bball analyst than skip.
after that, Steven a would not work with someone unless they were a horrible bball analyst opposite him.
Which is why the green soccer meets us domestic sports guy was the right choice for first take moving forward.
