First there was Jordan, then came Kobe, then came Lebron. Who and where is the 4th coming?

yeah that 2011 heat team was so stacked, that's why 40-year old zydrunas ilgauskas, joel anthony and mike bibby's corpse were playing major minutes every game:laff:

rose had a great season in 2011. MVP couldve gone either way but i still think bron wouldve won it if the media wasnt pissed at him.
I'm glad you came through and actually see my point on that year.. Which is also the last we seen from Rose...

But c'mon breeeeeeeeh, I lived in Toronto where Bosh was our STAR player.. dude took us to our first playoff run since Vince Carter :dahell:
ya put him on a team with LeBron & Wade before he started having problems physically and that ain't kinda stacked compared to the Bulls? BE REAL.

 YEA THE CELTICS DIDNT GAME PLAN FOR THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR.
LOL @ COMPARING THE WIZARDS TO THE CELTICS....

ILL ASK AGAIN...
WHO IN THE WHOLE HISTORY OF THE NBA...
WE'RE TALKING THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS...LEGEND AFTER LEGEND
HOLDS THE RECORD FOR MOST PTS IN PLAYOFF DEBUT?

WHO IN THE WHOLE HISTORY OF THE NBA...
WE'RE TALKING THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS...LEGEND AFTER LEGEND
IS THE YOUNGEST MVP OF ALL TIME?

WHILE YOURE AT IT...
TELL ME WHO GOT OUTPLAYED BY JASON TERRY IN THE FINALS
DURING HIS PRIME IN HIS 8TH SEASON IN THE NBA ON A SUPER TEAM?
bruh if derrick rose's claim to fame after 6 NBA seasons is scoring the most points in a playoff debut and being the youngest MVP ever, then god bless that man's heart.

(now i can easily say that the 2009 celtics team wasn't as strong as you make them out to be since missing their defensive anchor in KG, but i wont)

also, jason terry averaged 18 points on 49% shooting in the 2011 Finals and lebron james averaged 18 points on 47% shooting in the 2011 Finals. if it really makes you feel better to hear that jason terry outplayed him, then fine, jason terry outplayed him.

now that we got that out of the way - is lebron james, along with MJ and kobe, a generational talent? yes
is derrick rose? hell no

the heat team in 2010-2011 were stacked on paper, but they went thru a lot of growing pains and some of the same issues they had back then they still have today against teams like chicago. there's a reason why tom thibs teams always play miami tough and wade, bosh and bron usually play like shyt against them.

rose is great but not this once-every-10 year prospect that OP is referring to.

Westbrook is the next one if he can get his own chise and build around him like the sixers did with AI in 2001

Westbrook has all the physical tools and bball skills to be a once in a generation player at the pg/off guard spot but he lacks elite bball IQ. If he had Wade's bball IQ, he would really mess the league up something terrible.

Mmmm, and just when I was with you...

On what Earth did Rose play 6 NBA seasons... :dahell:

Like I said the first time... this talk would be much different IF Rose had never gotten any major injuries..

And like I said the first time... We'll just never know.. But he was definitely on pace to pass even Durant who is one of my favorite players of this generation...

The last season we got from him the numbers do not lie.. He was on par with LeBron

If he had better IQ, handle and passing, he'd be Derrick Rose.

People didn't think there would be a Kobe or Lebron after Jordan....It always comes full circle!

Whoever is next probably doesn't even know it himself yet.
